Where is the jax update?

I don't know why, but i just played jax and i found him extremely boring. So when is Riot going to come out with an update for him. For being the grandmaster at arms he seems, extremely one dimensional. In the lore we read how he is able to duel any person in the world, and while he probably still can in game, it just doesn't feel as satisfying when your just simply auto attacking an enemy. I feel like there should be a level of outplay that you can make with jax. If you look at fiora, another duelist in the lore, you have to dash left and right to try and hit those vitals. Even though it may feel a little gimmicky when you make an outplay it feels like you are actually in control of a duelist who is constantly looking for the perfect time to strike and kill. With jax I do not feel that same level of excitement, i simply flash on the enemy ad while they can't auto me for 2 seconds, stun them and quickly burst them down, it simply doesn't feel as good. Overall, I feel as if jax's abilities are a bit lack luster, and he should definitely be on the list of champion updates as soon as possible.
