State of Veigar

My question is, should Veigar be updated or even reworked? I've played since season 1 and still can't tell when his ulti is coming out. I am fine with the burst, but I think the projectile should be 0.4 seconds slower or should be more visible. I still don't understand why LB was reworked and not Veigar when he has a aoe stun.

I could definitely see Viegs getting a small update. Burst damage visibility is definitely something that could be looked into. I'd like to see the actual projectile speed slowed down a smidge, so the one on the receiving end could have some better options to react. Late game power fantasy. Is late game delivering on his fantasy well enough?

I think there are other champions who need a rework more, currently: Amumu DrMundo Irelia Mordekaiser Nidalee Lissandra Kindred

Le Blanc was updated because of how easily should get in an out and deal 'tons of damage' in the process. Too little counterplay.

good points.

Why do you think Liss, Krid, and Nid need a rework?

Lissandra Completely underwhelming from a power fantasy perspective. Her mechanics are pretty dull as far as champions go. (Compare her to the likes of Taliyah or Zyra?) I wouldn't call her underpowered per say.. but definitely not strong enough to be a competitive pick. So a small buff, but more like a reimagining. She needs cooler (HAH!) abilities that help her stand out. As it stands? It's like playing discount Annie or shit, even Karthas sometimes. One thing in particular is that her mobility is among the sluggish and most underwhelming in the game, I'd like to see her ice projectile move significantly faster or travel much, much, farther to setup some insane 'jukes'. I guess that's her other huge issue, her skill ceiling isn't exactly huge, and mastering her feels underwhelming at best. She's just not delivering on too many things and in my eyes is thusly a failure of a champion. (Sorry rito!)

Nidalee Eh, now that I really sit down and think about it - out of everyone on the list, I guess Nid is the one I can't really find any major issues with. Her business is minor, like Veiger. I miss old Nidalee, I feel like the meta combined with her current state has pigeonholed her into a singular role, and I don't like that. I'd like to see her viable in many roles (Full disclosure: I'm a filthy support main, and I would love to take her support, but it's not viable anymore.)

Kindred Frankly? Too much effort for too little payout. I've seen Kindreds make some of the most amazing plays ever, and... they get very little payout for it. Also feel like theres too much 'feast or famine' going on in her kit. You either dominate and are terrifying, or ... you lose most of your impact. I also strongly feel like her ultimate doesn't really match her thematic - I'd love to see something that goes a different direction.

I think his R should be a skill shot. Atleast give me a chance to dodge the 2500 dmg ult that has a 30sec cooldown lol

The stun is dependent on some fool touching the walls just as they rise or while they are up, and Veigar's short range can be a hindrance when he wants to catch someone on the farther end of the wall.
Anyway, if I'm allowed to make two changes to Veigar, it would be an indicator for when an enemy will suffer maximum damage from his ult and modifying his W and animations to make the casting overt...but not where it will land. Makes counterplay more interesting, I think.
