PSA: Please dont buy certain things on Yuumi

So ive noticed its been quite a while now yet people still buy boots on Yuumi according to u.gg. You dont need boots on a champ that can attach to someone that has a higher base movement speed anyway. You dont need boots since when you get dismounted you pretty much always die.

Dont buy potions on Yuumi. It is the same as evelynn where the kit keeps you alive long enough anyway, so you only need one pot on evelynn to save 100 gold. Do the same flr yuumi, you dont need 2 pots because you only get off once evey 15 seconds to stack your shield anyway.

sorry but people that have no idea how to play Yuumi should not be telling others what they should and shouldn't build. You should not be attached to your ADC 24/7. You being detached is way more important early than you mindlessly attaching to your ADC. You are not giving your ADC much by being attached early on and you have very little pressure while attached when compared to when you are detached. Hell you being detached means you can go forward and poke with Autos + Q and having the safety of attaching to your ADC if the enemy goes aggro on you. Boots will help you tremendously even if only to actually get in range to actually auto people and that's only looking at the MS and not the magic pen of sorc shoes or the CDR from ionian boots

Boots 1 are important, as theres times where you need to travel the map short distances yourself. Boots 1 are cheap and are too important not to grab.

2 pots are also fine. Gives you more leeway to take punishment and use E more for lane partner.

I think the line of thought is that you're in solo and people tend to think they're master chief when they have a yuumi on them so they run in 2v5

Boots do more than just give movement speed, Sorcerer's Shoes and Ionian Boots provide extra bonuses that can be worth picking up, even on Yuumi. Even if they didn't provide bonuses, Yuumi should not spend all game attached, she should be moving to ward, auto, and swap between champions. Boots would help with doing this.

Also, I feel the need to remind you that Yuumi came out 5 days ago. Experimenting with items is a good thing especially this early in her lifecycle.

Stop talking like a numbskull.

In solo/duo Queue, Yuumi often DOES need boots. Her teams simply don't wait for her. She spends 1-2 minutes just chasing them to attempt to attach. that's huge. Mobis help with this.
Boots are important if you plan on using her Passive at all. Good luck auto attacking at 330 move speed.
