Ranked broken?

I was playing ranked and I got 5 wins and 5 losses in ranked. I was bronze 2 last season, and my mmr is silver 5. However, I was placed in bronze 5. Is there something wrong with ranked?

wow shocked you missed if you were bronze last season you will be placed in B5 even with 7/3 i got b5 and i was s5 last season

I have also seen people go 1/9 and not end lower than Bronze 3.

So sorry to say you might be off on your MMR calculations based on Duo queues/premades. Because you DO NOT end that low after 5/5 with silver MMR you just don't. I would suggest your actual MMR is severly inflated due to friends being better than you sadly.

alright thats fine i onoly played solo for my ranked last season so i put my self in silver ALONE so you can just tell me i got "booseted" but at least i know how my solo skill stis unlike loosers who use this dynamic crap

Like I said I was assuming...Im not saying you are "Boosted" at ALL I play with higher lvl friends too. And for that reason on MMR sites it actually states MMR "May be inflated due to premade games".

I wasn't saying thats the be all end all sorry if you took offence.

well thats how it sounded and if you look back at any other posts around season reset they had people going from gold to B5 and most of them were people that rose right back to where they were in a month or so i was just stating what i had seen from boards and all the rage from people in higher ELO's

well, one, your rank isn't exclusive to W/L. Two, it soft resets, and generally people place slightly below what they did last season. in this case, i would have expected you to place bronze 1, but it seems your individual performance must have brought you down >.>
