I found the solution to the Meta

Earlier this week I brought up how the game needs to be scaled down in order to make it more fair and enjoyable but instead of going through every champion's numbers and every rune and every item to change things up, I feel like we only need one SIMPLE change.

**What if armor scaled a lot less in the early and midgame and a lot more in the lategame ? **

Well, for one, ADCs wouldn't need such cheap and OP items in order to do anything to them, which means we can finally bring about changes in the gap between build costs that the community has been begging for.

Supports with Aftershock wont be as unkillable early game, which is also something a lot of people (especially ADCs) have been asking for.

Top lane will have to rely a lot more on offensive stats for their early game, which means the staleness that every top laner has been complaining about will go away.

ADC meta will move to one where people can pick things like Lucian, Draven and actually do some damage and can fight their lanes out.

I honestly hope if we get something like this, they also make it so we go back to the bloodthirster first item on bot lane since lifesteal will help on duking it out instead of putting everything on the chance that you get one lucky crit.

How it would work:

Well, friend, here's how it is. Because bonus armor would scale so much worse in the early game, you'd invest a ton of gold into what's basically 20 armor early game, which means for most of that period, buying anything defensive wouldn't really work out for you. That means, of course, your first item is gonna be something like a Black Cleaver or a Triforce.

People might be worried that tanks like Sion and Ornn would become null, but that's not true ! You have to remember, their base stats are insane, they'll still put up a really good fight in the laning phase and clap you around but at least now you'll be able to get through and trade back even if they get ahead.

As for the lategame, I believe there will be a lot less bursting one person into dust since by now everyone should have a defensive item since it's worth so much because of the scaling. That means no more one shotting everything because of the very high damage which is what drove a lot of people away from the game lately. Tanks will last more than 4-5 autos from a Vayne too which I'm sure will feel great for them too.

I'm really interested in what people think about this, I feel like this would be a great idea that can get everybody on board, even the tank mains.

Early game damage is already high.

The whole idea of building tank early isn't to smash the enemy, its to farm safely while avoiding dying.

How about we let that happen like it did in S1-2. You don't need to kill them early to win the game. Go roam gank another lane while they struggle to farm those minions that you shove in their face.

If anything tanks should be beefier, and deal less damage. Their current state deals too much damage, and is too squishy.

That wouldn't solve anything. That would make tanks even more broken.

You vaguely talk about changing armor scaling, yet have no numbers (not even estimates). Tanks already get stomped early game by bruisers how is making their first buys nearly useless going to effect them? Are you going to change the armor formula, or just implement a generic "bonus armor has x% reduced effectiveness until y minutes"? How will this effect towers, do they also have reduced armor? I'm certain nobody will like weaker towers.

This idea sounds great on paper, but I highly doubt you can even present a remotely possible way to implement this without massively breaking the entire game. Overall I rate this 10/10 upvote farming, 1/10 actual good idea.
