Improvements to Hextech Crafting

Hi, my name is Ediarai and I have a couple of suggestions to improve hextech crafting. Ever since the new season came out, Riot's made a lot of changes, and the fact that they're helping new players get champs a lot faster is great, honestly. The problem is, skin shards seem to be a thing of the past, and I never get them anymore. With all the champion capsules I've been getting, the constant flow of BE is definitely useful, although I've been playing this game for a long time and already have all the champs I would want to play. However, with key fragments being pretty hard to come by, I'm always sitting on several hextech chests at a time, and that number's only grown ever since the changes I talked about earlier. On the few times where I do get enough key fragments to open one of those chests though, I'm always getting yet another champion shard and it's gotten kind of annoying. So I've been thinking, and I've thought of a couple changes that could be made to prevent this kind of thing from happening.

First of all, I think we can all say that key fragments are really hard to come by, and even if you get honor 5, which I got pretty much right away, the benefits weren't very significant. I know that they've updated that in the past, but a suggestion I have is this: the higher your honor level gets, the more key fragments you get. By that, I mean whenever you log in and are gifted a single fragment, the number of fragments you get increases as your honor level gets higher. For example, if you're getting a single fragment each time when you're honor level 2, then at honor level five, you would receive 4 fragments, increasing by one every time your honor level goes up. Now, this isn't to say that it has to be a direct one-to-one ratio, but if it was, then maybe it wouldn't be a random 4 fragments, but it would go from 1 fragment at honor level 3 to two fragments at honor level four, capping at an entire key at honor level five, so when you log in, you can open a chest and move on.

Secondly, I think that the drop rates of skin shards should be increased from hextech chests. So far, whenever I finally gather enough key fragments to open a chest, I'd either get an emote or a champion shard, which has been pretty annoying, to be honest. Compared to last season, the amount of skin shards I get has decreased exponentially, to the point where the number of skin shards I have hasn't changed since the start of this season. So, my suggestion is that when players act sportsmanlike and finally get honor level 5, they could be rewarded by logging in, getting a key like I said earlier, and open a hextech chest and get a skin shard, occasionally getting champ shards, emotes, or ward skins as well. This way, with the constant flow of champion shards from champion capsules and simply playing games and completing quests, skin shards wouldn't be as forgotten as they are now.

That's all I really have to say because honestly, Riot has been doing a pretty good job recently and I appreciate their work (except for the current bot lane meta where you afk farm until level 18 with relic shield, overheal, and cull). I hope you guys consider my suggestions, and maybe even make them a reality. New players are already getting much more BE than we used to get with IP back in the day, so I don't think that making skin shards more common would be a bad thing in terms of getting new champs. In fact, I think it would be helpful for those same new players that want skins for the champs they're getting, but don't have money for. Well, I've run out of things to say so if you've read this entire thing, thanks a ton and hopefully I can check in and see a response from a Rioter. I'm just fantasizing at this point, though.

I do like the idea of using champion shards to get higher levels on champions though
