It seems to me like it is something like that, but more specifically, their ultimate.

It shows, Lux chained and her beam, Jarvan IV and his arena, Galio falling the sky, and Garen reaching for someone with what seems like Justice being called down on them.

The thing is, .. Lux's beam isn't coming from her and Jaran IV isn't IN the arena, .. So maybe this champion is able to mimic or use their ultimate themselves.

However, .. Galio is the one falling from the sky bound in chains, .. so this supports the idea that they can force an ultimate.

edit ah I see its ultimate abilities rather than story

he would work like Rubick from DotA if that were the case.

could also be something like Disruptor where an enemy will return to the position they were 4 seconds ago.

Could also be some sort of magic reflect like Spectre's Dispersion, which is a passive.

Don't think it's going to be something crazy like forcing an ultimate.

I think the champions in question is more hinting towards his affiliation with Demacia, rather than his skills now that i think about it. It's probably just about the lore, and his use of "chains".

His skills are anyone's guess, but i have a sneaking suspicion they are going to have a disarm due to being such a new debuff.

forcing people to burn their ultimates doesnt sounds like great gameplay. it sounds like complete cancer tbh.

IF this isnt the champions using their own ultimates, id rather think that the new champion might be able to copy other champions ultimates.

I could see it as a way for the champion to copy, or force the champion (or an aspect of that champion) to use a copy of their ultimate in a way that benefits the enemy team.

For example, if the enemy team has a Galio, the champion could bind Galio and target one of Galio's enemies champions, forcing Galio to use their ultimate to travel to that location, providing damage reduction for Galio's enemies and knocking up Galio's allies.

This might not consume Galio's ability to use their own ultimate, but maybe if Galio's ultimate is on cooldown the champion can not force Galio to use a copy.

I could see this being unfair because it could force Galio to move to a different location, .. and it actually might not be good because it might give actually serve to give Galio's team a numbers advantage afterward. Maybe instead, the actual Galio remains where he is, but a clone travels to the selected champion and disappears immediately after.

On the other hand, with someone like Lux, .. I think it would make sense to just have the champion bind with Lux and simply target the ultimate from their position, as if they were Lux. Again, Lux would still have the ability to use her own ultimate.

So if this is the case, .. the way to counter this champion would be to have your ultimate on cooldown.

i think they should finally stop introducing new champs and i stead balance the already existing 140 ones. Thats quiet a championpool to work with dont you think so?

Nope. It’s just gonna have 4 passives and one %max hp %missing hp, true damage, execute, stun, heal, blink on like a minute cooldown.

In all seriousness though, I hope they continue the Neeko trend and don’t create another overloaded mess of a champion like Pyke akali and Irelia.

it's probably going to be a disarm. Possibly a targeted disarm, small to large aoe disarm, or even possibly a global disarm.

It reminds me of Torturer from HoN, who was a "chain wielder".

Could have some form of silence due to the tie with Demacia, but it's more likely going to be a disarm, due to being such a new debuff with the irelia rework.

I kind of like to think about shit like this.

need more skills that work like silencer and NA that trigger on certain instances(cue the chains). a skill that slows and if they auto-attack, disarms them afterwards?

And/or an armor passive that can activate for 3 seconds disarming any would-be auto-attackers for 2 seconds? Maybe the slow silences them if they cast a spell instead? lol

Anyways.. it looks like he's gonna have some kind of galio/panth ult. maybe when he lands enemies in the aoe get dragged to him.
