Is it normal when someone in your team can 1 vs 5 wipe all at mid to late game?
Or team balancing is just a blunt lie?

pretty normal.
If they're fed and the enemy team plays it badly enough then yeah
Normal? Probably not.
Possible? Absolutely. Especially if they're smurfing in a lower division.
