LEE SIN NEEDS BUFFS (read before commenting)

Edited: Hotarm brought up a good point. Buffing his resistances instead of his damage would be a good direction to go in, if rito intends lee sin to be a fighter.

Champions that have a high skill ceiling are often miss-balanced. Lee is no exception. However, when the uncontested hardest champion in the game to play has a win-rate well below 50% for the highest ranking players.... it's pretty obvious something is wrong. Here are some things to consider:

  • Champions that require no skill Veigar Karthus Annie Nasus Lissandra out-bursting lee (an assassin) at all stages of the game with SIMILAR farm.

  • Lee has an abysmal win rate in professional play (0% this season in NA LCS, less than 30% the season previous), where theoretically the players are of the highest caliber.

  • The list of champions that counter lee (with a delta over 2%) continue to grow (current 38 according to u.gg).

Here's the problem: almost every champion in the game has cc, and cc makes lee's kit useless. He's an assassin that does less dmg than all the other assassins, yet has more mobility to make up for it. When assassins are doing badly, notice that champions with sufficient dmg always stay relevant (Leblanc, Talon, etc). Lee is not one of those, since he relies entirely on mobility to succeed.

There are only two ways to get a kill (without KS-ing) on lee. You either have to out-play your opponent so badly that none of their skills hit, or you have to have enough farm/feed to one-shot them. When the enemy team is composed of champions with hard-cc, you're forced to wait out CDs to be able to unleash your strength. In the meantime, your team is essentially 4v5ing. This leads to an enormous amount of loses, and very few champions that are viable to play alongside a lee sin. In solo/duo queue, you're very rarely going to have a teammate interested in complimenting YOUR pick of Lee sin.

Just some thoughts. A lee without dmg feels like crap to play. This isn't 2017, where lee was broken. If you can't think rationally about champion balancing, don't bother commenting i don't care what you have to say.

All you gotta do is land a Q, hit Q again and auto and with electrocute enemy champ (unless its a tank) will lose like 80% of their health

Every single jungler of this game, except for those who play him, hates and is disgusted by Lee. You can't seriously be expecting someone to support you on this.

AurelionSol?

Lee Sin is definitely not the hardest champion in the game to play. Maybe at higher ELOs or against difficult team comps he's could reach top 20 or so, but even then, that's being unbelievably generous. If Lee was the "uncontested hardest champion" to play he'd have a lot less of a pickrate and a much higher/lower winrate that's handled only by dedicated mains.

There's a reason Lee Sin has been one of the most prominent and dominant junglers since release, and it's not because of his difficulty.

Champions that require no skill Veigar Karthus Annie Nasus Lissandra out-bursting lee (an assassin) at all stages of the game with SIMILAR farm.

In what world will a Lee Sin with item 1400 + Electrocute be outdamaged by any of those champions? The only person who may naturally outdamage Lee from that selection would maybe be Annie if she had her full combo+Ignite up. Everyone else would be outclassed by Lee's mobility and damage.

Okay.

Lee Sin has had one of the highest pickrates in the game since his release and the only reason his winrate isn't 50% or above 50% is because so many people across so many ELOs play him.

Platinum+ 49.4% WR

Gold+ 48.9% WR

Silver+ 48.5% WR

Bronze+ 48.4% WR

Even in Iron+, Lee maintains a 48.1% WR.

Keep in mind Lee is one of the top 5 most played champions in the entire game.

The list of champions that counter lee (with a delta over 2%) continue to grow (current 38 according to u.gg).

Lee Sin dominates anyone who isn't a meta jungler. A good Lee Sin invalidates 60-80% of the jungle roster.

read it, doesn't matter how well you write it, all your points are wrong and dumb.

Lee sin has damage comparable to many assassins. So I am not sure why you are suggesting his damage is not comparable to most laners ults. Hyperbole does not help you any

I am playing Lee only since years. He is perfectly balanced right now, I am currently Silver 1 and climibing with that account - and it is skill dependant. Buffing him would cause a high ban rate and an overpowered overall package as his early game is so strong. He is in a good spot right now and riot knows that

GreenKnight1/26/2019, 7:37:46 PM1 votes

He doesn't. He really does not need buffing. He's strong in early to mid, and then falls off unless he's really fed.

Hes perfectly balanced right now
