Mana-got Support

I got this idea from someone's blue UrgotUrgot build.

Start Coinitem 3301 +refillableitem 2031 -->

Coin for money and regen to help you survive.

Early Game tearitem 3070 (and sightstoneitem 2049 )-->

Tear to start stacking, sightstone isn't necessary if you you want to be called a troll or don't want to spend money like me.

First Full Item frozen fistitem 3025 -->

This is a nice item because it makes you tankier, gives MORE MANA, and adds more cc to your kit when you AA.

Second Item manamuneitem 3004 -->

Lets you stack faster and is your first AD item.

Third Item ROAitem 3027 or frozen heartitem 3110 -->

I haven't tried ROA but it could work. Frozen heart gives more tankiness, mana, and helps reduce the enemy team's damage in conjunction with your passive.

Fourth Item new tear item 3070 --> archangelsitem 3003 -->

About now your first tear item should be done stacking, so it is now time to build another tear. Finish it when you feel it to a good time.

Fifth Item Frozen heartitem 3110 , more mana itemsitem 3800 , or more tankitem 3102 .

Frozen heart if you didn't get it, or maybe you already filled this slot with an MR item. Sadly NONE or the MR items grant mana.

Sixth Item Get boots as necessary (I prefer swifties item 3009 ).

Full Build

item 3009 item 3042 item 3040 item 3110 item 3025 item 3102

Pregame Run exhaust summoner 3 , like a real support, and flash summoner 4 .

I run 12/18/0 with the Lethality perk and thunderlords. AD Runes.

I'm not trolling right? Urgot :3

I actually got my S rank chest as support-got a few days ago (after buying him a few days before that).

Arguments could be made for all 3 support items. I found coin best for me, but I think relic shield is probably the best in theory, but it requires actual last hitting and adcs are probably not too inclined to let you.

My build was something like item 2302 item 3042 item 3047 item 3071 item 3033 item 3142 , although I'm kinda meh on the 6th item and games rarely actually lasted that long. Might be worth leaving the slot open for control wards. Lethality runes/masteries with thunderlords along the lines of what you proposed.

Theres actually a lot of support-y things in urgots kit, so attempting to support properly with what their is for ad support-y items (bc and the grievous wounds lw item) is probably worthwhile, instead of "lul urgot totally not trolling...yet building seraphs despite no AP scalings other than the shield".

I personally haven't gotten far enough into a game where the seraphs becomes significant vs another item, so I didn't really know how it would turn out. I just thought the shield, mana, and ap (for W) would be a good buy; 1000 more mana is 20 more AD too.

I don't know what the best boots to get are, but swifties just felt nice to play with.

What are your thoughts on LW/LDR? I felt like they just don't have much to offer vs more survivability. :3 [slayer-jinx-catface]

Well, what's your goal here? If you're a support, your income is going to be pretty gated, so stats that are nice to have aren't actually useful if they're not cost efficient.

Your mana-got thing is going to have some big w shields, so that's all well and good maybe you wont die, but what will you do? You're not going to be a significant damage threat outside of laning phase and ultra-late game, and you probably won't make it to late game if you don't offer much early (also vision is kinda a big deal).

So, you basically need to be adding utility with your items. 1 tear item is prone to be enough to let you spam your abilities fairly freely, so the muramana gets a pass. Extra mana beyond that doesn't really help your team much, so is hard to justify. LW/LDR only offer you personal %pen and damage, so not very useful to the team. Mortal reminder on the other hand comes from executioners calling, which applies grievous wounds whenever you do physical damage. Enemies suffering from grievous wounds means summoner heal/lifesteal is going to be weaker at the very least, and if theres anyone who relies on heals (e.g. swain/vlad/raka/etc) then all the better. Usually the adc will end up building LDR (occasionally even when they should be building mortal reminder), so by building it as support they can get away with the extra damage of LDR while still having grievous wounds on their opponents.

Boots are kinda flexible. I broadly like lucidity boots on supports for the reduced summoner cooldowns and early cdr, but depending on comps tankier options are certainly viable (urgot often finds himself in the fray due to his ult so why I put tabis above). Not a fan of swifties usually, as they're often just slightly more speed and not much else. If theres a lot of soft cc (eg slows) and minimal hard cc then maybe.
