The Practice Tool - Some adjustments please!

I was using the tool today to test out builds, dmg from a combo, etc, but I realized it's not an accurate picture of anything really. How can I test these things vs a dummy? Well, I can, but I need some control over that dummy.

Here's my suggestion to fix this:

  • To accurately depict gold income to match XP gains, instead of "add gold", "increase xp" and "fast forward 30 seconds"; These could all be combined into a 5 minute chunk of time where you would gain gold relevant to either 100cs/10min, 75cs/10min, 50cs/10min (an average of course). Your XP gains would be based on the number of waves you would have been present for in that time lapse.

Okay, so now that I'm levelled properly to test my damage, what about the enemy?

  • Instead of the "test dummy" you could actually spawn a selected champion and have the ability to make purchases from the store for that enemy champion.

Awesome! Now I can get a fairly accurate picture of what it would be to full combo 3 item AD J4 on Malphite that has 2.5 items and is stacking armor. :)

Yeah I've asked for similar changes.. it's hard to test items like liandries,botrk, lethality items or any pen item because of 1 the hp being too high, and the res being unchangeable.

The Practice Tool, at its current state, is just a basic platfrom. If Riot does add features to it, these would definitely be nice to have.

It's a good idea, but it took this long for the practice tool, making these things might take a while.
