Having trouble playing kindred

I used to play a lot of kindred a few months, i know she has received a lot of nerfs but i'm struggling to do well with her at all. I like to play them mid because I find that the most fun role to go (i love skirmishing in the mid lane, then stealing a scuttle >:3). I used to consistently carry games and what not but now it feels very off to play her. I have a super hard time incapating her damage from her E, everything feels like it slows me, I have mana struggles, and there Q feels weird and i struggle to go through the walls i used to travel through (it also feels like i was less of a range). Now i'm not saying they need a buff but did her overall play style change with there nerfs. Is there any tips i can get on using them correctly now (in lane).
