coin drops shouldn't be visible to enemies

When you're hiding in a bush waiting to maul your enemy bot lane, it's supposed to be sneaky. But if you're building the Coin line, it won't be. Enemies shouldn't be able to see your mana and gold coins. Not only is it confusing (that very, very vague red aura does NOT help), but it's damaging to your gameplay.

If your enemies can see where the coins are, they know where to attack next or even know that you're there when you don't want them to. There's pretty much no point to hiding in the bushes if the enemy sees coins dropping right next to it. Also, if both supps are building coin, you can't tell what coins are yours. As I said before, the very vague red aura doesn't help.

Coins should only be visible to your team; enemies shouldn't see them.

1st. No, I don't think that they should be shown while in brush 2nd. They are meant to be seen by enemies so that they can punish you for getting it if they so choose. It is like Thresh. You can't always get souls without trading it for harass.

The enemy bot lane probably suspects you being there, to be honest.

By this logic, Ezreal's Trueshot Barrage should have no windup animation, windup SFX, or particle effects, because it's damaging to his gameplay.

For real, though. Having coin drops visible to both teams creates counterplay, where players can strategize around the enemy's early-game item buys and try to use it to their advantage, or deprive you of the advantage of using it fully.

If you get brought down to 15% health from 70% because you went to go pick up a coin drop in a disadvantageous spot, that's counterplay at work; punishing you for not being smart about your use of the item, and rewarding the enemy for being smart about their play around your item.
