Jinx is a hypercarry with unstoppable late game, and I'm fine with that.

But if that is so, then why is her early game so strong? She pushers towers super fast and deals tons of damage in lane.

I think that her late game is completely fine, but her early game is too strong for a hypercarry.

If she doesn't get fed or if she gets outplayed, she's one of the hardest champions to come back with. Although she is savage af, she has a lot of down sides with her as well. Jinx

i haven't had this experience

it's been a lot more like riven for me, where she gets one random kill in a teamfight and then suddenly she's the top threat despite feeding the hardest in lane

True, but it isn't that hard to not feed with her. She can't come back, but her laning phase is strong enough that feeding will be rare.

Unless shes on your team. Then shes guaranteed to feed

Jinx earlygame isnt good, maybe in low elo where people generally dont punish lategamecarries for being weak in the earlygame.

Only way to do that easily is with a Braum, Thresh, Blitz, or Leo counterpick and maybe an accompanying MF or Lucian.

Also chompers + rockets mean she's still pretty safe.

Just by picking her you shouldnt go 0-20 every earlygame. Ofc she has tools to survive the earlygame, thats the point of lategamecarries. And trust me jinx has no mobility spell , is pretty shitty in trades till she gets more points into q and overall can be farmed by lee sins all the day at any competent elo. She is completly fine, there are a lot of better picks for the adc role currently and she still is playable.

I think it's the synergy with Runnan's. Her rockets already give her a decent level of wave clear, but combined with Runnan's it's just rediculous. Especially since her rockets are also her primary poke tool.

And that level of poke would make her relatively safe in the early stages.

The other thing is, Her ult can still make her good if she's opportunistic. Fall behind a kill or two in lane sucks, but a lucky hit with your ult and your back in business.

Her laning phase really isn't that strong. In order to make use of ANYTHING that's strong in her laning phase, she needs to switch to rockets = overextending in lane. While Tristana also naturally pushes lane she has a jump to get out. Jinx has nothing to escape from ganks with. Her chompers have a 0.75 second arming time (which basically means anyone with a brain can avoid it in lane, they're only really useful for blocking paths in the jungle) and her W not only requires her to stop moving but is also one of the most telegraphed abilities in the game. She's probably the easiest ADC to gank in LOL.

Her late game isn't all you're giving it credit for either. Again, she lacks any safety for herself. The areas immediately beside baron/dragon aren't good spots for chompers either. She may have long range with her rockets, but that doesn't guarantee her safety. Many champions can get on her with their kit, and if they can't there's always flash. Hers will be down for 5min after your first try. Hypercarries with some level of safety can do a lot more late game on their own - Jinx is likely the second most team dependent ADC in the game as well.
