What's wrong with him exactly, he seems the same as before the rework. has his numbers been dropped or something? but people really hate it and are wanting another rework

He entirely lacks in CC and his kit is pretty janky. He is very kiteable and i think they just overall fucked up pretty bad. Im no expert, i'd call MM if i were you.

yeah. A rework is supposed to fix their issues. btw i forgot. they tried to force him to ADC and it went terribly.

To be honest as a Morde main I will say that the game itself is actually evolving around him less so than him needing to evolve. Sure there will always be bad match ups, but after the mage update strong mid-lanes like Cassiopeia actually struggle against Morde who has the right mastery (Storm Raiders) and runes. Early game cass can't do damage to him and when she commits she walks right into a big NO NO.

It is actually interesting to see laning with Morde get easier as reworks come out and patches change the landscape of the game. Also Morde craps on Malzahar same reason above except he heals 100% off the pets that spawn. Its all about the knowledge.

I would say Morde is a low level mechanical champ, but a high level knowledge champ to be successful. The problem with League til recently is that knowledge and understanding weren't valued just OP champs and mobility to jack knife games in their favor.
