I know he might not be meta or good in lane. But holy crap when this thing gets ahead and has an item ahead of you it is just unfair. I seen this guy use 1 Q and my ADC died from full HP. Didn't stand a chance.
KFCeytron5 votesIt has moderate base damage and a 1.0 AP ratio. Either your ADC was several levels behind after being AFK for a while, or the Q was immediately followed by an R.

And a 1.0 ratio on Ap is huge! 300 damage is a fully charged Sion Q. The only ability that I could find that does more base damage that is not an ult is Zoe's Q at max range.

Not a ton, but most also don't have a delay of that length on their damage either. AP Cho'Gath hurts like hell when he hits you, but his W, E, and R are all very close range, his Q is dodge-able, and he has no mobility.

- All of which HURT LIKE HELL when they actually get in range.
Your comparisons are bad too, Singed is a wonky split-pusher with extreme movespeed and a VERY discouraging trail for chasing, and Rumble's damage and cooldowns are ridiculous compared to Cho's - As well as Rumble's engage range, his ult is massive.

Why are you asking for abilities with a base damage over 300 when Cho's Q has exactly 300 base damage? It's the same as Ez's W, which costs 50 mana (with a potential refund). And yes, 1.0 AP ratio is pretty significant, which makes sense for a slow spell on a champion who doesn't build a ton of AP anyway.
Once again, Cho will not be one-shotting anyone with Q unless they are several levels behind. It's more likely that the Cho ulted right after the Q hit.

Off the top of my head, Blomming burst, javelin toss, dark matter, death ray, frost bite, barrel roll, chain last all hit as hard or harder. It is an incredibally slow ability so you need to look at other slow abilities for comparison.
