zed ult changes

so guys i was thinking, after the recent zed ult nerf what would be a good way to balance him out? one option i felt would be a good idea would be to revert the change and simply nerf his damage on his w and maybe base damage on q. then another idea came to me that sounded more mechanically interesting.what if you nerfed his damage, kept his ulti delay as is but, and stick with me here this might sound a little crazy. what if as he ultis he gains a spell shield like banshee's. this will definitely make it easier for him to fight in non 1v1 situations, but still give the opponents a way to play around him. they simply pop the shield and then use their cc. alternatively it could be replaced with a health shield that scales off ad like Riven. maybe the shield can get more powerful the more people he hits with e. this way in a 1v1 situation it won't be too op but it can definitely give him the team fighting power he currently lacks. what are your thoughts on this?

Zed isn't designed with Defense in mind. Giving him a defensive/tank ability like that would make no design sense. Zed relies on the players mechanics to outplay the enemy, he moves like a shadow, get it?? Anyways, Zed is already balanced. The R changes were big enough.

Firstly, the Zed "Nerf" is for balance.

Secondly, I think you mean the damage buff on W?

Lastly, a CC immunity on Zed would be wayyy too strong with the late game cooldown on his ult. A shield sounds very similar to Yasuo's ultimate.
