Why exactly is Veigar not considered strong against mobilty?

You have a 1.5-2.5 second stun for an entire team. Regardless of stunning one or not, that's a huge advantage for 3 seconds. Wouldn't that be the best choice for a team of mobile champs, not to mention a killer combo for an AoE team- Say Galio/Amumu.

Furthermore...

I understand that Veigar is SUPPOSE to be a Mage Killer, but why does he get infinite stacking, a 1.0 on his Dark matter, and a 1.2 on his Ult along with 80% of his opponents AP.

I feel his ult should scale with 40/60/80%. Not just 80% at rank one. But that's just me. His potential to melt squishies shouldn't justify getting Banshee's to cut down your damage when Veigar himself doesn't need an item such as that. I dunno. I've always thought his power level was too high.

He's very high damage and control all around. I think people might say he's not good against mobility because nowadays mobility is being defined by dashes, flashes, repositioning skills. These skills all have the ability to carry you harmlessly across the walls of Event Horizon. I still agree that even with a mobile team, the fact that Event Horizon is instantaneous makes it incredibly difficult to dodge.

I think only blinks and a few jumps dodge the Event Horizon but pretty sure most dashes it just causes the stun still.

I feel like i've escaped Event Horizon with Vi's dash and Nautilus' anchor toss, but I could be remembering wrong. Vayne's Tumble? maybe they do all get caught.

Akali's ult, I'm like 95% certain she just dashes straight out! And Ahri's ult, same. like 95% sure xD

I think Braum can jump it and Fizz can troll-pole it.

Obviously Tristana can rocket jump

What about Shen's dash or Zin Xiao's charge? do those get caught?

Kassadin's Rift Walk.

Caitlyn's 90-calibre Netgun?

Zed can swap with his shadow.

Jax and Rengar can jump.

Aatrox can jump.

Leona's Zenith Blade will pull her across it without stun.

I wonder if Darius could ult across it if an enemy got close enough?

It seems like there may be a lot of possible ways to get around it without going around it. Some to look into, at least.

Been a while since I've seen a lot of people try to dash through it ^^; I'm seeing people claim both that it does and doesn't but more on the does side. Though there is a chance it stuns after the movement goes through... I can't recall.

I can see that. I'll have to remember to test it out later. Now I'm curious what can and can't cross it.

Ooh! Riven's third Q. xD

veigar has no way to regenerate life, so he has to back to base often. he also can only blow up a single target. He also is very low mobility himself

You guys seem to be forgetting that sometime back in S3, they updated Verigar's stun. You cannot dash through Event Horizon's wall without being stunned anymore. You literally need a teleport type skill or you still get stunned after the skill ends.

This was changed around the time when Ahri could triple dash through his stun walls. That's not the case anymore. His stun is really strong.
