Demotion

So I just got demoted after two games of 4v5, while having played less than 10 games in the division (Gold 3). And no they weren't all losses, i was probably 4-6 or 3-7 maybe. I had a bad run. How is anyone stupid enough to believe that warrants a demotion? How absurd is this system? I'm already gaining the same amount of LP that I'm losing with wins/losses. It's been 5 years of ranked and Riot still doesn't seem to have any intention of fixing how Ranked works.

You lost games. It requires punishment. I see no issue here.

Losing game in a division when you are at 0LP has a cost, usually takes two to three games. It all just depends on how close your MMR for that league is to the previous one. Losing them on a Tier (Div 5) has a cost too however, but takes a lot longer.

Although i hate getting promoted then losing 4 games ( do to afk's, trolls, me playing bad ) in a row just to get demoted back, it helps you as a player. If you can climb up again that means you deserve to be in that division.

I'm in platinum 1, I've loss 2 of my diamond promos and have been being demoted and re-promoted back from platinum 1 and 2 ( i Cry )

The system is fine, (frustrating as it is) It does its best to weed out who belongs and who doesn't. If you had a bad run and got demoted, get back up and keep playing. For me as a frequent top laner, the decision to hit a creep or not to hi creep determines whether I win or lose lane. Don't play to win, play to improve and you'll climb.

Even if the game is a 4v5, You still could of won the game. Did you die in lane? Did you forget to ward? Did you roam enough? Did you focus objectives? Did you flame? These are things you should think about every time you lose.

It might sound cheesy but who ever wins a game is not the team that won. It's the team that made the fewer mistakes then the other.

I have had the same issue I had 17 lp after a win and lost 2 straight with both losses putting me at 0 Lp and i did not play any games while at 0 it just demoted me immediately i lost my first game and had 2 lp left and then after my secondary loss i got an immediate demotion.
