Any plans to fix ranked?

Is Riot planning on updating the ranked system anytime soon? And no I don't mean adding a Super Challenge Big Star Tier that you can only get out of on the full moon between the hours of 12 and 3 if Phreak is watching TV during that time. I mean the lower tiers, where the ranking is 99% luck. I've been stuck in Silver for a while now, and no matter how well I do it all just comes down to who I happen to get matched with. It's way too frustrating. The concept of one's skill level being based off of wins is baffling. People say "Oh just play this champ or that role and you'll be out in no time." Guess what? Maybe I don't want to play that! I should be able to spam Nautilus support in solo queue and be able to get to higher ranks. There's just got to be a better way to do it.

I 100% agree with you, there seems to be no point in assigning rank to anyone if it is essentially determined 20% by your performance, and 80% by your team. They should realize that there mastery system works far better at determining rank, assessing an individual's teamwork, kda, and farm should be how rank is determined. I've gotten so frustrated with my inability to advance in ranked due to feeders and people who refuse to communicate that I just don't even play ranked anymore. Those who truly try hard and wish to advance to their maximum potential should have the ability to do so without being hindered by those who only wish to inhibit other players. For a company that entertains one of the largest user bases for any video game you would think that RIOT would take this more seriously.
