Why do so many supports have such a massive victim complex?

It always starts off with "as a support main" and transitions into this low effort copypasta about how they played perfectly, but their chimp of an ADC screwed up and flamed them for the whole game. There are a couple of variations, like "i hit 1 minion and they dc'd" but it's the same kind of thing. And yet in actual games I rarely ever see this happen, to me or to anyone else, and when it does, it isn't nearly as bad as these "support mains" would have you believe.

So what's the deal? Am I missing something?

I used to main support but the support victim complex is what made me stop playing it and switch to top. The role isn't even that hard either so I don't see why the support mains all like to complain. Supports are the most whiniest set of players along with ADCs.

not a victim complex just get tired of being blamed for adc stupidity.

Yeah, they are not support mains, they are whining mains.

gets 0-10 . get's asked why feeding/playing bad . "i am support, i dont have damage" maybe that's one more reason to play safer?

I see more terrible ADCs than terrible supports. I also see more ADC rage at supports than vice versa. So, I tend to blame bot lane on the ADC.

Being a support main, I have an ass of an ADC once maybe in 200 games or so and usually it's been my fault (not sarcastically, I actually legit screw up and get my teammates killed).

I think people just want to complain cause they got stuck in the role and want to carry but instead tick off teammates. ie Support Singed and "omg, I'm helping my team!" and play more like a second role.

My biggest complaint is people yelling at me to stop dying even though it gets us an Ace and my score is some 2/6/45.

It really depends on elo......

Honestly it just depends on the person. In my personal experience, I've dealt with a lot of people who play champions that are supposed to do a shit load of damage/ get a lot of kills/ carry acting like they're God's gift to the earth and since I'm not them I need to shut the fuck up and do my job so they can carry me. So I can understand why a lot of people normally see "The ADC bullied me" more than "My support was so toxic"

Because support is just that- support. No matter how good support does, their ADC holds the lane(95% of the time)-its him that dictates the pace of the game, its him that has dmg, its him that pushes, and that carries later into the game.

Because of that as long as their mismatch between ADC and Support in their "speed" its going to make support feel bad once all the flaming starts.

For example I used to play Janna a lot and when you see enemy dangerously close to your tower you can sometimes Flash+R to put them under it. At that moment you expect your adc to follow you up, not to farm and say WTF did you do Janna you retarded idiot. Or even better example, how many times have you seen Vayne go in 1v5. Well you see unless YOU are a Janna with 300IQ being able to predict exact microsecond when you need to press R so your Vayne can knock enemy into a wall, chances are you are both going to die.

Supports never really get flamed from my experience. I flame my degenerate ADC and the rest of the team flames the jungler so that way we are all happy :).

Simple math? More often than any other role, someone is playing supp that doesn't want to, so they suck and they get flamed and they report how supp gets flamed all the time. And the small reality perpetuates itself into a bigger spiral.

As a support main (huehuehue) with 7/9 support champs with Mastery 7, I had one game where I got flamed by the adc for not helping AA minions for him. And apparently, if I don't do it right in a sense he can't get any cs off of my AA, I get yelled at again.

Because they think they don't have to get good at the game, and win and get all the praise.

Get over it, everyone gets flamed for being bad, regardless of role. If you think you're "good" and "never makes mistakes", stop lying to yourself. We all do.

this is actually so true.

tbh i see more toxic supports blaming their team than the other way around in reality, even before autofill.

it's just a stereotype that isn't true at all.

i just don't understand so many of these so called "support mains" on this boards. i just don't know why you would bother playing support if you want to

  1. carry
  2. not duo lane

these kind of people are the feminazis of League. they think that maining support gives them some special rights to simply utter complete bullshit but will never accept when you say something reasonable against them.

If your duo I would recommend doing mid and jungle. double bot is putting all your eggs in 1 basket, mid jungle has impact on every lane when done right.
