no not "zin zao" like you're trying to speak it in english. How do you actually pronounce it? I've heard "Jin Jao" but that sounds off to me even though it contradicts my question. So you how do you actually pronounce it?
I'm Chinese but never paid attention to how to pronounce it. I actually asked my mom how it would be pronounced. And she said "Seen Jiao".
If it's pronounced the way it would be in Chinese, then it's Sin Jao (I believe -- I'm not the most accurate).
This does line up with how it's pronounced in his spotlight though.

I've always felt this is best left a carefully guarded secret among the few westerners who know how to read pinyin. It's more effort than it's worth to deprogram people once they've decided their wrong way is the right way.

If my Chinese isn't rusty, the pronunciation of Xin in English is with a Sh. So almost like saying shin/sin. Zhao is pronounced like Jao.
