LoL No Longer Instantly Alt Tabs?
Its been a while since ive played league, but I've noticed that the game no longer instantly alt-tabs and comes back up. Any idea why that might be or is that just something that has changed now?

A handful of patches ago they made some improvements to the game optimization I feel which causes Fullscreen to take about 6-7 of black screen to finally rerender.
I switched to Borderless for a similar effect of full screen and for some reason, you don't experience the long black screen time. I'd give that a try. I'm not exactly sure the difference of Borderless and Fullscreen. They feel pretty similar, but who knows.
As mentioned by Hethalean, the problems with alt tabbing occurred a few patches ago. There was also a Windows update around the date of the patch so it's not clear if it's Windows or League.
What fixed it for me was finding your "Focus Assist" settings on your computer and turning EVERYTHING related to it off, even if the feature itself seems to be disabled. This seems to have worked for a good chunk of other folks (https://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/general-discussion/2zlXdcJO-does-anyone-expriencing-slow-alttab-on-client-compare-to-pre-810) and if you've been out of the game for a while, this might fix your alt tabbing problem too.
