There is no reason to ever pick a melee champion without a dash that is off cooldown often. With the amount of overloaded CC, CDR and Damage in the game atm they get blown up even if they build very tanky.
I guess Mordekaiser just up and stopped existing.
I don't know, old Mordekaiser was able to absolutely crush despite being completely immobile, undertuned, and without any cc. All it takes is for an immobile melee to have damage fitting of the burst meta and boom, they'll still work fine

Okay I listed the majority of melee champs who don't have dashes. (youre gonna count yi q as a dash I bet...well good, ill keep illaoi off this list due to her w then)
Feel free to express why exactly the lack of dashes makes the underpowered ones so weak and why the ones who are actually used are able to function despite not having a dash.

I’m going to have to disagree with ya on that one. Illaoi and Darius both hold 50% win rate or higher from iron to plat+.
I for one play Darius and he has plenty of tools to help him get past his weakness. For example taking tenacity in his rune tree, merc treds, phage, dead mans, steraks and if you want unflinching. They can’t hold you down and you move faster than people expect.
You don’t need a dash to be effective, you just need to be smart in your game play.
