It's pretty sad that

probably only in Diamond + elo they really know to not give up and play around the small yet exsitent chance to win whenever behind, instead of trying to surr, getting toxic, and going afk/trolling in base. You came to play and win, whats the point if you are going to ensure you lose on purpose by voting to surr just cause enemy got baron and its 10-25? Baron runs out you know? They also can make mistakes, get cocky, etc. I mean I'd surr only when its like 5-35 but ya. Stay postive

Before they removed featured spectator games (for whatever reason) i use to spectate alot of high rank games. And i can saftly say its not all that different when it comes to one sided games and surrendering. Its quite common in high ranked games to see the scores be 55 -2 and see teams surrender at 20 or just stand in base and let the enemy team open a lane.

The only real diference is they arent usually toxic about it.

Comebacks do happen no doubt about that but for ME it seems like less and less comebacks do happen as this meta and last few patches almost guarantee small leads means its over. I understand the play until its over but some people only have their stats to back up their play and elo. some people don't want to end the game 0-50-0 and have MMR or ELO Robot calculator see that the 0-50-0 person got carried by the team and won, instead they would rather lose 0-2-0 and not go through that. I'm silver 4 so yeah explains me but wanted to comment and share my thoughts on your post.
Will explain the stat situation once someone comments or for you to respond as I don't want this to get too long.
