Minion block too much

Riot, if it ain't broke... you know. The intended goal as you've stated was to make minion unit collision more predictable. The old system worked. Yeah you'd get blocked randomly sometimes but now you just get blocked all the time. You can't trust the pathing, which itself historically has been a bit troublesome. It's impossible to successfully farm as certain champs many of which already struggled against other ranged champions.

So as you said in the patch notes you've "fixed" the issue of not being able to walk through minion waves. First off I don't believe you told players about the initial change to minion collision and when you fixed it, it really didn't improve much. If you really feel compelled to fiddle with this I think everyone would be grateful if it wasn't on live till a workable version was created. It should be pretty clear to internal play-testers or on PBE when this is the case.

I say they just increase the attack range of all melee champs.

No, it didn't work. It WAS broken. The solution just happened to make it worse.
