If you're gonna leash with some form of damage over time (ex: twitch poison, singed poison)...

please do NOT stay until the buff is, like, really low health or use that d.o.t when it is. I prefer not smiting on my first clear. Try to leash and back of early, or stop using the d.o.t. the closer the buff gets to lower health if possible (ex: singed q) (also if ur teemo try not starting E to leash)

But that's just my opinion, and if you accidentally steal it try to help them at least a little bit clearing one camp, as they will be a bit behind.

No.

How hard is it to predict such a low DOT at level 1. You know the numbers that appear when you hit things is the damage you're doing right? Look at camp's health bar to see how much more damage is needed to kill it (it's also written in numbers) and work it out, lmao

Twitch DOT does like 5 true damage, thats like a 3rd of a minion hit. If the buffs get really low and you dont wanna risk it, just kite it for couple of seconds, it's way better than having a really bad leash.

Or dont ask for a leash to them after all they are helping you out not the other way around.

tbh with the timer on its spawn and when the first minion wave comes, they should be leaving it to not miss part of the first wave of farm when it's around 1/2-1/3 health anyway. I am a jg main and that's how I leash, and how im leashed for generally. Just do it at a half if you started e on teemo(teemo main too) and it shouldn't be a big problem unless they stay for far too long

You should really be able to play around a 10 damage/s DoT effect. I haven't seen a jungler fail to kill a monster in quite a while (and I play Teemo all the time).

Or you could just pay attention to how much damage your autos do and make sure to not hit the buff for 60 damage when it's at 65 hp It's really not hard

He's right. Singed poison does surprising dmg. Especially because it ticks 4x per second for 1/4 the dmg. Most start with a little AP. They should just leave with a puff of poison when the buff is at 40-30% health. That way you get to lane in time, jungler gets help till like 10%, and they don't have to smite or start a buff securing ability that leaves their health or mana lower than optimal in the long run.

This also because a lagspike on the junglers end should not lose him the buff.

Or smite to kill camps is always an option.

It DOES do junglers a favor to leave sooner but you still have to do your own part by making sure YOU get the kill. Smite have damage values displayed, and so are the buff's HP, so these should help out.
