Sometimes it's the other way around too, I had a recent adc game where we were behind, the opposing lane already level 6, we're level 4 maybe just hit 5 . Farming a large wave under my turret, my Karma decides to just walk around the minions and engage. She gets demolished by Lux-Mf Snare and double ult before her tether even activates. Then she's like, "Damn it Tristana, if you don't start helping me I'm gonna afk." Like, what am I supposed to do?!
I had a game yesterday where I was playing mid ekko. Our support and I kept trying to set up fights and get picks but we rarely got a follow up from our duoed top and jg. The lee sin was our jgler and the top laner was a rengar MAIN who managed to lose lane to a soraka.
It felt a lil bit like one of those games.

To be fair there are a lot of idiots who will "engage" when the enemy has like 2000020204024 minion advantage and we have like, 3 lmao I'm a support main myself and when I am playing ADC while smurfing this makes me cringe so badly.
When the supports starts an engage after you told them you just want to farm.

It doesn't just happen on the rift either. In a snowdown game yesterday it was so bad that the enemy team asked me in all chat if I was being trolled by my team. They would literally run away on every engage. :P
But running away at least indicates they're paying attention. What pisses me off more is when I engage right in front of my ADC, and he/she just sits there continuing to farm until I die.
Also get this when I am the tank jungler, going Vi or Skarner.
