Ill make this short and to the point. It took me 6 months of casual play, 4-8 ranked games per week, to get from bronze 4 to silver 3. I had 5-5 in my provisional's, and my placement is bronze 3.
Its Very upsetting, and it is not fair. You cannot justify this, so for those who disagree, go on and try. My rant for the year. Blizzards heroes of the storm dev's better learn from ritos mistakes or i swear ima smack a baby.
try going from gold promos to being thrown into bronze or my friends who were plat 1 and 2 who got thrown into low silver and how they feel

i went 3-7 last year and got silver 4. im currently 2-7 right now about to do my last one, if i get into silver again with a 2-8 record then something is def broken considering plats are getting into silver with only 4 loses

Then your MMR is really high compared to your rank. You'll gain around 30 and lose 10 per loss and probably skip promos .
Well, so far I've played about 10 ranked games since my promos whilst in b3. Im stable.. but not advancing. Im still in the lower end of b3. I had figured my mmr would have placed me with better groups as to help me advance quicker, but i guess not, or my groups were utterly just bad.
