both of those champions are straight up broken. yes yes i know that pyke is the golden boy of yours but you cant justify not nerfing him for much longer so do it ASAP. I dont want to start every single game with a preach asking my team to ban them, while i ban akali ( maybe not anymore but the balance team managed to buff Evelynn so she probably takes the spot )
Yuumi hasn’t been much of a problem for me, but Pyke is pretty much still everywhere - and is still a wincondition champ.
Yuumi gets shattered by blitz/thresh, but yeah I mean Pyke is overtuned.
Just an annoying champ that you should ban if you dislike playing against them. But yes, I assume you in Grandmaster I see a Pyke every 2-3 games when open.
So you are taking issue with 4 champions in this post: Yuumi, Akali, Pyke and Evelyn. You know what they all have in common? De facto invincibility. You can't target Yuumi while her passive is in use; you can't target Akali in her w; you can't target Pyke in his w; you can't target Evelyn while her passive in use. Now, you might say, "well hey, doesn't invincibility have no counter play, and should therefore be implemented sparingly?" And you'd be wrong, because Riot has the hidden data which tells them it isn't op.... the data of skin sales. So shut your mouth and genuflect to Riot video games. Invisible assassins may be able to 1 shot you before you can see them, but so what? You should have some how outplayed them - DUH! I must respectfully thumbs down (I thumbsed up) your post, sir. I hope yuumi gets picks at worlds so this cancer gets nerfed and can finally have some counterplay
I'm not arguing against a Pyke nerf, but why are people complaining about Yuumi? Her winrate in ALL elos is 45% or lower. Is it just specific matchups that she's strong or something?
Pyke is perfectly balanced, and the fact, that he got the most nerf asking on the boards is just the weaklings whining. Just chain CC him, and nuke in teamfights. It's not like, that this is the counter for around 95% of the champions.
Yuumi also balanced. Just bring ignite+all-in, and you beat her bad in lane phase. And as we know. Win lane-phase means, that you win the game, and if not, then it's your team's fault.
I wouldnt hold my breath on Yuumi nerfs she is sitting at 44% WR.
Lol, that's a whole lot of champs you're whining about all at once.
Yuumi is easy to deal with; she is great at getting champs with little mobility onto you, but she is garbage at keeping her champion alive unless they can survive a while themselves.
If she is with an adc bot lane, play agro. Any kill on the adc is an almost guaranteed double, and she cant do much to keep you off the ADC. Her healing is really subpar without items, and isnt maxed until last unless she is building heavily defensively, in which case most of her usefulness is wasted.
Pyke is mostly a reaction check. Flash or otherwise dodge R and he becomes entirely useless. Likewise, he also lacks any capability to protect his adc, so you can freely target them. He also lacks most of his damage until 6.
