So is she still good? I've been playing her recently and think she could use some buffs, but I'm no evelyn master so I'm probably not playing her to the best of her ability. I'd like to main her, but if she really isn't good I don't want to bother. Please also consider the new jungle and jungle items coming out soon. I feel that these will probably be indirect buffs to certain junglers. And can someone give me pro/cons to ad and ap eve, theyre both pretty even imo.

She's really "eh." She doesn't really do as much damage as other junglers. Her main thing is causing paranoia and forcing the enemy to buy pink wards. She shines early game when no one really buys wards, but becomes an awkward flanking/initiator come late game.

AD Eve: Substained damage with auto attacks. Use her Q to proc things like Tri-Force

AP Eve: Burst damage and then sustain damage with Hate Spikes.

Evelynn can be great if you build her with pure damage. I usually build 2 Infinity edges, trinity force, Ionian boots, spirit of the lizard, Phantom dancer on her. Her move speed can increase up to 600 and beyond and can be way faster than Udyr when she's attacking somebody and you can burst anybody who doesn't have armor to death with this build. It works because she has that stealth passive. In ranked, the most kills I've ever gotten in one game is 21 with this build. She can spam her spikes and constantly proc the trinity force's spellblade and combine that with a 90% crit chance, you'll do massive damage. Her passive lets her sneak past stealth wards and gank any lane with ease which is really OP and nobody can blame the support for not using their sightstones to prevent ganks either.

Don't bother building her tanky though. She's kinda useless as a tank since she has no cc.

I personally love Evelynn because of her passive, where she can even place wards around without it turning off Shadow Walk, and with her speedy boots on she practically skates around the stage.

Also, her ult cooldown lowers to about a minute once it gets to level 3.

Her huge downside, though, is that she is one of the most squishiest junglers, right next to Shaco, so to effectively play Evelynn you just really need to practice her over-and-over again.

Once someone masters her, then they can really help their team win.

Recent patches since this thread was started has brought Evelynn up a few tiers on the totem now.

Before she was highly regarded as a tanky builder, but the balance team saw the need since URF days to increase her Q damage, which has helped tremendously. She can feasibly go either route of damage or magic, and still throw in tankiness for some all around punching power.

She is much better than she used to be with minimal changes, and now the cast of Dark Frenzy cools down with casts instead of just on kill (sacrificing movement speed on cast, which isn't that big a deal when you get comfortable with it).

TL;DR Yeah, she's making a come back. She's even being played in Featured Matches more, which is nice.

nah she's pretty terrible to be honest, she's only wicked if your team is already snowballing, or if you manage to Tilt the game to snowball for them in the first 20 minutes, but if the game moves on to 40 ish minutes it begins to feel as if your watching a baseball game, and one teams down a member in the outfield.
