So, it procs every 2nd hit, what would that mean for champs like xin and aatarox where they need 3 hits to proc something, how does it work? :/

First hit is normal. On the second hit all on-hit effects are applied by the Phantom as well. So it will only take 2 hits since the Phantom helps.

He's wondering if it synergizes with some of Xin and Aatrox's skills (e.g. Xin's Battle Cry - Xin passively heals every three attacks). So for that ability, does the phantom attack count as an attack for the purpose of Battle Cry? Do you passively heal every two hits if you have a sated devourer?

Well I just link everyone here then: Sated Devourer check the tabs down lower for what it does and doesn't interact with.

Answer: Yes, it does.

First attack procs the first hit of Xin's/Aatrox's on-hits and the first hit of Devourer's passive.

Second attack procs the second hit of Xin's Aatrox's on-hits and the second of Devourer's passive, which then reapplies all other on-hit effects, meaning Xin's/Aatrox's on-hit passives proc a third time every other attack.
