@Riot: Can we get a GOOD and reasonable explanation on this?

I just wanna know why you guys scrap all the hard work you put into this game? What I mean by this is, why do you put things back in your "workshop" or your "Vault" (as I call it).

Examples-

 - Why did you take the Bilgewater map out of the game? Is it to never be played again or are we just waiting a whole year for an anniversary type deal?(URF only came out in April so Bilgewater only comes around its release) I honestly think there should be a voting or circulation system between the two maps in ARAM mode.

 - I also heard that Project minions are only going to be around for 2 patches?(Will need confirmation.) If this is true, I feel like its a waste of resources. I love the idea of Project:Minions and I think it should stick around. Maybe apply the same to the Pool Party skin set?

 -  The one that kinda hits me and has me dumb founded the most is the Male Voice announcer pack. I know he had a pirate like voice but I think it would be a wonderful thing to stay around. Someone on here even said that maybe we should be able to buy/change our announcer pack? I like that idea. 

 I love you, Riot. But sometimes you just don't make sense most of the time. League is one of my most favorable online games. I just want whats best for you guys and the community. You guys are limiting your gameplay content for no good reason as far as I can tell. 
 Also, I'm sure theres more things that could be added to the list that Riot took out and took away. But I just wanted to make a quickie list. We could drone on and on about it but I feel like this will turn into a rage thread or something.

Yes, the PROJECT minions will be available for 5.17 and 5.18 only.

Limited events and skins make them more valuable to the players. Featured Game Modes are typically only temporary because they take extra work to maintain that would usually be going towards the main game modes and they may also burn out players that play it too much (it's bad for business if they play for 2 weeks then don't come back for 3 months).

There are reasons why these things are only temporary sometimes, though I do agree that they should come back more often.

Well I still don't get why they would throw aside an entire Voice announcer. I think it was 14 mins of new dialogue? That should stay around and players should have a choice between the two. I get the limited time events to bring players back but I feel there should be new game modes all the time or every week or so. It stressful to play the same thing all the time. (Kind of the reason I have so many custom games in my match history.) Limited time only skins are a good idea and I can fully understand those.

it's all a marketing ploy

see if they have urf all the time, it'll lose it's appeal.

Believe it or not, there are people that don't play much or at all anymore, that will come back to play urf mode. It is ritos hope they people stay and buy more RP

If they juts keep urf around all the time this could never happen

I feel like people lost interest in URF was because there were people who took it too seriously. But at the same time I do agree that things will lose appeal. Thats why this game can be so boring now. Its pretty much the same thing they just don't seem to care.
