"Placed" in Flex Queue... Twice!?

Ok so, around when Flex Queue first came out, I played a quick 10 games over two days, went 7 wins and 3 losses - placed Plat 5 (my solo rank was Plat 2.), no biggie. Riot then took the ranked queue down for a few days.

Ranked queue comes back up, I play and win a game (my 11th game), and I get this message; "Congratulations Summoner! You have placed Gold II, keep in mind that all Summoners start lower than their solo rank."

So, as you can guess, I basically just got demoted from Plat 5 (Placement) to Gold II (Second Placement??) for winning a game. ** Ok.**

I saw the alert before playing (am actually about to play rn). I am just wondering how they can figure out our prooper placement with 1 game. Just reset it and let us start over.

You got placed where you should have been placed in the first place. Improve your MMR now and when it resets in 21 days you'll get a chance to place higher.

i done little research , random samples, i look your first placement match in this account . May 2016. start - ----> you got Gold 1 (solo ladder rank) .

this extra placement match --return back into it (around it ).

I experienced the same problem. I was Plat 3, and got placed plat 5 with 8/2 wins in placements. I started playing in plat 5 flex until I hit 100 points and then the same message came up... now I am Gold 5 WTF is this shit

i got the same thing gold 5 silver 3 and then i wont a game i was already silver 2 climing back to gold and then got bronze 2 after winning a game

Ok, this is way messed up. I played my 10 games and placed bronze 4. Ok, that's a little frustrating. So I did some grinding that day and got up to bronze 2. Then the next day I play a match and place bronze 4. How is that fair in anyway? That was a waste of my time grinding then, so messed up.
