Kindred can no longer gank. Literally, try it.

After a few games (after being heated about these Kindred nerfs), she can't gank lanes anymore early game unless her laner already has an established advantage. She can't keep above 50% health while clearing camps.

Wolf's Frenzy reducing monster damage by 50% for 2 seconds is only a one-time proc and it's only when you activate Wolf's Frenzy. Mind you, 2 seconds is enough time for her to negate one hit from a monster. That's it.

Found myself dying when attempting to gank a lane due to having 40%-50% health when a gank was attempted early game.

My problem? Kindred is and was designed to be an early game jungler, she's supposed to be a meaningful presence early game. She no longer has an early game, she's outclassed vastly by the likes of Lee Sin.

Well, RIP another champion.

Kindred's design was always sort of stupid.

If she was designed to be an early game champion why was she given infinite scaling on her passive? A Kindred that succeeds early game (as most did, since her early game was so strong) was also strong late game, able to shred squishies and tanks alike while building more tank stats than your average marksman. Her ult gave her even more late game scaling.

This made Kindred incredibly snowbally. A Kindred that got the ball rolling was unstoppable, since unlike Pantheon or Lee Sin there was no fall-off point to justify that early strength.

They've nerfed her kiting, her armor on an already squishy champion, took away her sustain, nerfed her damage, took away her ability to ult allies... She's already slow and very squishy, each nerf hits like a truck and her winrate is extremely low. Like, what the fuck? What does Riot have against her?

Or maybe you just need to adjust your play style and understanding...

Against monsters, Wolf deals bonus 50% damage and slows their movement speed by 50% for 2 seconds.

According to the description, this sounds like it should be applying every hit so you'll have the movement speed and attack speed slow on the monster for about 10 seconds.

If it only applies once per monster, it might be a bug.

Lee Sin outclasses a great many junglers early-game when played well. This is nothing new.

As someone who is rank 6 on Kindred, I can say with confidence...

Good fucking riddance Get out of my games you scum champion. You've done nothing but cut champion diversity to shreds with your overbearing base stats, absurd clear, and infinite scaling. Just die now so I don't have to see you again

This is just a small Nerf, I don't take much damage due to kiting and the new W ( slow and decrease attack speed ).

I, for one, welcome our new downvote overlords. Seriously, nerds, find a new hobby.

She can gank fine, if its succesful or not now depends on teamwork. Where it used to just be she walked into lane and free kill

Profirix6/29/2016, 7:35:26 PM1 votes

Yea, I saw this coming. They have finally nerfed Kindred to a point where she is no longer able to survive her jungle. Granted, I hate this champion, but too far is too far.

Though I will say one thing: you should not be getting hit very often if you are kiting properly.
