I'm not saying Arelion Sol is broken, but where's the "laning interaction"?

They say Annie's laning interaction is with her low range, they say the laning interaction with Ziggs having to go into range to use his passive. But I don't get how to trade or fight Arelion Sol in lane or out of laning phase. With his amazing mobility and map roaming power, his (really cool looking) stun, and a w that makes it so he can go into the middle of the lane and activate it. I don't know how to fight this, but if anyone could tell me, that would be really kind of you.

Personally i pray i get to lane mid against aurelion swole. for one, i mainly play assassins. I'm a huge zed player. Zed is the most cancer match up possible for aurelion sol. what you do is wait for him to use stun, shadow e slow teleport to shadow q auto and hes already 1/4 hp. there is literally no possible way for aurelion swole to win that lane unless you are just terribad. anyone that can get up close and personal counters aurelion swole. if you are having issues with the match up after this advice i do not know what to tell you. I think aurelion swole is a super weak champion that will never see professional play.

He's not that big of a threat to anything other than a few select melee midlaners that he can kite. Anything ranged (Xerath, Lux, Ziggs, etc) can bully him out of lane. Furthermore, as others have stated, champions like Zed and Talon can hug him to keep out of the range of his stars. To be honest, there's not much GOOD about Aurelion other than his sustain aoe damage in teamfights and roaming potential.

Stay inside his aoe range or outside it and blow him up simple. Also buy magic resist or play galio against him.

his mobility is amazing?

I mean, the E dash/wall-jump is fantastic, sure, but if you damage him at all he completely loses it and he only gets the MS moving in one direction.

Aurelion's interaction mostly comes from trying to position to make use of passive. If you sit far back then he has to expose himself to trade with you, either by moving directly to you or by shoving the wave so he can have the minion advantage first. So he's either making himself vulnerable to ganks, or if you out-range him or outpush him, you can make his life miserable. Also consider having good mobility or just being able to move quickly out of his Q so he can't set up his burst combo.

It's not too dissimilar to Karthus, to be honest. He'll mostly mind his own business, but just like Karthus, Aurelion can do a LOT of damage very quickly and even more over a long period of time.

getting right on top of him, with his delay on Q and the limited damage area of passive and W, getting on top of him is your best bet.
