What is going on with Urgot and/or Yorick?

Just wondering if anyone still acknowledges these champions anymore, with most of the champions in the game actually being ignored to begin with and people just going with what is best in the meta, cough cough zed, warwick, pantheon. etc I think that these champions need some love bad. Urgot's kit is ok. but it needs a desperate damage increase on the q. (possibly increase the cooldown duration on it from 2 to 3 or something to compensate). And Yorick , I know for a fact that his kit is being reworked into a ghoul controller. where he constantly controls 4 ghouls and sends them out to do his work, and all of his abilites either enhance the ghoul damage or increase the amount of ghouls that Yorick can have. ( though i would like him to return to the free rotation, alas poor Yorick). But what do you guys out there think about these champions. or even the ones that are ignored constantly, but are still good.

Galio Urgot Yorick

A legend speaks in hushed tones of the forbidden three. Not much is known about these champions, some used to seen quiet often, while others were only noted in a few cases. As time passed, these figures grew into obscurity, withdrawn from the world they were created. Stuck in the ways of old these figures patiently wait for there time, and at times there patience is rewarded. For... A brave summoner chooses them, and they walk as gods on the field of justice, spreading chaos in their wake.

As an Urgot player, personally I hope they don't fully rework him like Sion. His ult is niche, unique, and very useful for dueling thanks to the massive damage reduction. Two things need to be done, in my opinion.

Give his shield some bloody mana scaling! For a champion that benefits from building mana, you'd think he'd get some scaling in there somewhere, and currently his shield is useless outside of keeping the Q's slow debuff. I can see why giving it AD scaling would be giving him too much tankiness for building damage, but mana scaling has been thrown around for a while now and I think it's a great idea.

As for his Ult. Keep it but make the damage reduction scale MUCH HIGHER the more champions you're nearby + the one you swapped with, but appropriate reduce the current base reduction already on it. In a 1v1 scenario, it gives plenty of defense. But when you ult into 4 champs while throwing their ADC into your team, you're basically trading deaths. Back when Urgot was released, this wasn't the case because there wasn't 2 assassins on both teams so your damage reduction actually meant something. If it was changed to scale upwards dramatically the more champs are nearby I feel it would restore it's original usefulness. Mess with the CD and Range as necessary. ... Though but seriously, Lvl 6 ult range is terrible, actually give that a little bit of love while we're at it. It's less than AA range if memory recalls.

Urgot's kit is getting an overhaul, probably Sion-level (just kit-wise, as he has a pretty solid - if not disgusting - artistic-ish-whatever-you-call-this theme going). Morde, Poppy, and Galio are up around the same priority, with Eve and Taric sitting in the "WTH do we even do with this little material" tier.

I love urgot.......Urgot

fun to play.

Urgot is so pretty now........ Like they did some texture thing I think......he's still urgot but now smoother...... and then you and drink a iron elixir make him huge.....

I heard there was a time folks would ban urgot was too good.

I think if they rework him they should change the R to work like Nidalee Elise . Make his R switch abilities.

Heres the new abilities they should give him......comic relief.

Q should be a Poro Launcher that mortar fires a Poro like with pantheon ult range. The poro you control with q button along the minimap, its a long range perma pet. can bite for 5 pts of damage.

W is a minion recruiter button which causes a minion to permanently follow urgot and attacks whatever he attacks.

E is the reverser his R used to be.......but he can target himself with it and Urgot and all recruited minions switches places with that poro he launched.

If that's too much and want to keep it "serious" They just really need to do something about that reverser ult. Its like when you first get it its got the range of "right next to you". I wonder if that IS the joke. xD

They should redo the ult....

I like the ult animations and sound. In a way I think it gets more usefulness being a "channeling stun" like Malzahar rather then for what its intended.

I was never a fan of urgots kit but mostly cause it doesn't hit my play style. But I know for a fact he puts me out of the fight especially early with his homing knives. They do great dmg and IDK why people don't play him other than play style. Now. YORICK is another story. I use to play, and only play yorick top. Because of his fed late game. 3v1 and walks away with full health and a triple kill under his belt he is a great team fighter focusing and easily separating/eradicating ADC from the fight or any other squishy champs. But this ghoul rework depresses me I do not want some kind of Elise yorick. That irritates me to hear. :/ I like this champ. a lot. Maybe a buff or 2 is needed or an ult rework but in my opinion that is all.

Riot wants to fix them eventual. The problem is that they all need sion level reworks, and that is probably as hard as making a new champion. There are a few others in the same boat, like Taric and Mordekaiser. But these two are the worst offenders now that sion is gone.

I am hoping Taric is next personallly

I just played a match where my friend was Urgot support.

We won.

I went up against an Urgot who went top.

He lost.

Urgot still op, Rito plz nerf.

But in all seriousness, I'm worried about Mordekaiser and Taric more than Urgot. Yorick is somewhat understandable, but he's still strong early game, as his late game has always sucked. Of course, Rito refuses to address him because they want the rework to throw everyone off.

Yorick is more toxic than Satan Teemo, that's why he's never played(I report u) but Urgot? idk why Urgot has no love, he does need some damage on his Q, and his ult more reliable. I'm gonna buy him after Morde(huehuehue) tho

I still use Galio and I never tried Yorick or Urgot yet. Maybe because they're ugly.. >.>
