How do you deal with a Rammus?

Bronze ADC, I know build qss/armor pen/lifesteal but that all takes time and generally getting 2-3 items on adc is a lot longer than a simple thornmail.

Apparently the APC should deal with Rammus so the answer is probably clench my butthole and pray he doesnt make it in because I'll be damned if they ever do anything to stop him.

Also apparently I should get this magic thing called "peel" which basically means my team helps me to not get fisted but im fairly certain that doesnt exist either

How can I kill Rammus with no help from team and not a core build... with autos

as an adc you avoid him like the plague.

its not your responsibility to 1v1 a rammus, its a teams.

the best build for an adc who HAS to brawl with a rammus is item 3035 item 3072 item 3153 (this breaks even in reflects damage if he has thornmail, if you actually want to heal off of him you'll also need item 3139 )

basically you have to stop trying to build crit and focus on utility. you'll still do a lot of damage as all offense items are efficient, just not as bursty.

You have to build like a fighter/bruiser to kill rammus as an adc, which in a sense makes you a ranged fighter and less of an adc.

I'd recommend Qss, and black cleaver at the minimum.

Use qss to escape his taunt so you can also avoid attacking him while he's in ball curl buff, black cleaver to shred his armor and give you good fighting stats, hp, ad, cdr, and phage for mobility. If hes building a lot of hp, possibly add bork in there as well. Maw of malmortius would be good too if enemy team has other sources of good magic damage. With this you should have a decent amount of AD, some ok MR, and a slight boost to survival. You can choose to go either merc treads, zerkers, ionian, or swift depending on your needs to get more and reduce cc on you, more atk speed, more cdr for abilities, or just good ol move speed. last item could be very dependent on needs as well to counter enemy team. for more tankiness you could go frozen mallet or warmogs, if you need more armor pen both last whisper items or a ghostblade should work alright, LW for tankiner nemies, ghostblade for squishier or mobile enemies.

Build lifesteal, then he won't kill you but you won't kill him either.

If he's rolling for you then try to get behind minions so he doesn't bump you (he can summoner 4 though).

There is also the idea of simply not attacking him with auto attacks. Most, if not all ADCs still have a damaging ability that does not count as an auto attack (I don't really feel like looking through the list for any that don't), thus Thronmail and his Defensive Ball Curl will not reflect damage to you. You may not be as effective at dealing damage to him, but you won't take damage from him. ... And this is of course if you can avoid getting Powerballed and/or taunted.

Basically, ... have your team deal with him. As an ADC, you really shouldn't be doing much without your team anyways. If you're honestly playing a in-meta ADC, and you're playing them as an ADC, you are designed to be at least somewhat dependent on your team. That's called balance.

Look, Rammus and Malphite are made to deal with ADC's. Run.
