Smurfing goes the wrong way

Been smurfing with a new player on league but I am already getting annoyed to everything that happens in the 'smurf' world. He is just learning the game but gets flamed every single game just because everyone expects that everyone in their game is smurf. Gets probably a report every single game or gets trashtalked by the enemy team in all chat (Luckily I still haven't told him about that option). Let him learn the game instead of going ham in chat. If you don't want new players in your team, don't smurf please.

And also what I find 'unsportsmanlike' is how people just tunnel vision the new player to get fed off. Enemy team just uses everything on the new player dive their turret or whatever just to get fed and carry the game. Whenever I am in a solo lane and I know my opponent is new I just farm and leave him, I feel bad for stomping a new player and ruin his game/learning experience and instead I go to different smurf lanes. It's pretty obvious to see ingame who is new and who is a smurf so maybe just trying to help him instead of trying to dumpster him? Would be appreciated by him.

Tl;dr I am getting tired of smurfs go wombo combo on a new player and be like: "GGEZ UNINSTALL BRONZE SCRUB" or teams be like: "Please report X for feeding". This game is for fun, not to raise your self-confidence or release your anger.

P.s. Please do something against bots in aram, having 9 bots in your aram games on lower level is retarded.

I know, it's super sad.

However, know that when you queue with him he'll end up with/vs. smurfs since it detects you. If he plays on his own, after a few games he'll get moved to the new player group.

I quit trying to get friends into this game a long time ago. I know what a shit show it is and don't want to have anyone else experience it. Plus playing in those games with them feels so damn terrible.

I think it's because you play with the dude he gets smurfs more often. On my main when I was leveling up other players sucked as much as me. On my smurf I actually got matched with golds and plats in some cases. Let him play bots or just over see him but I do agree that smurfs are little bitches for going ham on the newbies (though I sometimes do that myself so I guess I fall in that catagory)

I mean, here's the issue: you are boosting his hidden mmr to the point where you guys only get matched with other smurfs. Had you just let him go on his own and given him guidance instead of babysitting him, he'd be at an mmr range where he'd mostly only get other new players.

Yeah, and in addition to smurfs all the toxic wastes who got banned and made new accounts are down there too a good deal of the time.

Lol is anything but newbie friendly :(

2 of my friends didnt even make it level 20 before quitting because too many people were shit talking in BOT GAMES. So when they asked if that is normal behavior in this game im like "yeah it gets worse in ranked etc".

I understand that most people say: Don't duo with him to not make him face smurfs, but it's not the point here. I've been smurfing before for fun and still I had like 1/2 new players in my games eventho I was a smurf. Same with games I play with him I sometimes still see new people in our games. The fact that bothers me is that those smurfs just stomp them and be toxic to them even when they are trying to learn the game. Yes there will be less smurfs if you're new but there will sometimes still be a smurf in the enemy team or in your team even if you're new.

I'm trying to teach someone this game too so I made a new account. I didn't do any PvP games so my me wasn't set yet. We got people bm'ing my friend in a bit game. Such petty people.

I plan in doing PvP with her soon and only intervening if there's another Smurf on the other team.

Don't even bother with normals until around lv20, just stick to bots and featured modes. Yes they'll learn the game slower but its for the best, the last friend I taught the game had to deal with shit every time we went into norms and when you get around lv30 where it's not some smurfs of toxic players that got perma'd or someone looking for easy games to stomp, the games normalize a lot more.
