Pretty much as the title says. I just started playing this season, this is actually my second account I am posting from the first is lvl 70 in Bronze III "30 or 40 Ninjas" (I dont want to discuss here why I have two accounts, there is a reason). My previous account I main Tahm Kench and do like him a lot. I just am getting tired of the support role it is very frustrating in low elo. Not to say a support cant carry, but frankly it hasnt translated into a results. Plus I find myself kind of bored and like playing mages better, so looking at mid and top.

I would like a coach to help me do several things:

  1. Help me in finding a role. I started with maining support and I do enjoy it but I have ventured out and really like Top and Mid as well. I learned I hate jungle and ADC haha. I think I want to go top, but I also want to know if this is a good fit for me, maybe mid will mesh better?

  2. I really like the champion Vladimir . I have seen literally hours of youtube videos and played him a good ammount against AI and unranked draft. But gosh dang I have never played so poorly on a champ. Normally I would just move on and think to myself "he isnt for me", but from everything I read on here picking a champ you enjoy is important. I love him for some stupid reason, but god do I suck. I also kind of like Quinn and Swain . but definitely Vladimir the best.

  3. Help me to improve my overall play, map awareness, what actions to take etc. On most champions I do well with the mechanics, and I wouldnt call myself a bad player by any means, probably average since I started in November of 2017. But I am interested in advancing and believe a coach can help me do this at a quicker rate than through just normal process of play and learn.

This is what I am looking for in a coach:

  1. prefer someone in Platinum or higher rank. (I know rank isnt everything, but to me does in MOST cases accurately demonstrate knowledge and experience in the game) High ranked gold with a lot of experience feel free to pm me.
  2. Be good at Vladamir (not necessarily M7 but be able to be a god with him if you choose to play him) and have a good understanding of swain and quinn. (these are the champions I am interested in I have some wiggle room but Vlad is a MUST.)
  3. Be nice :). I am not naive in my expectations I do not expect to be advancing to Gold this season or perhaps even the next. I do believe I have the basic understanding down to perform well in silver though, especially with the help of a coach. (I dont want to be carried I want to learn) I really enjoy this game, but definitely see a stagnation in my overall skill level in playing. My understanding of the game is improving but for some reason I cannot translate that into wins.

I have a mic and discord. Details on payment can be discussed in private.

As much as I would enjoy free $ or RP I am entirely happy to help infrequently for free.

  1. Rather then a role I would recommend developing a successful playstyle that you enjoy and have impact with, this allows you to thrive with multiple champions across several roles.
  2. Map awareness, TwistedFate Put in games on TF, seriously his R requires you to keep an eye on map for it to have impact and you learn over time kinda how the flow of the game goes by seeing where folks are. Try to guess where MIA enemy's are before you cast it even when your using it to gank, are your guesses accurate? You mained support so I assume your vision games pretty solid. Check vision score after games regardless. Anyhow when I was bronze and silver back in seasons 1 and 2 I played TF until I stopped being terrible on him to improve my map awareness.
  3. Confused how you lost or won a match, take the time to check the replay, you can put it on a higher speed, look for the moments that mattered most in deciding an outcome
  4. Prevent tilt, positivity can keep folks willing to play for a win.

Quick question, at a glance your gonna want some basic knowledge of every champion in the game. Your not aiming for pro play yet so being Exact is over the top but you should know a rough estimate of all champions ability's. Personally I accomplished this by grinding a few games on every champion I did not know during free week. put in 5-10 depending on if I found them fun. Back then we did not have VS AI bots so massive flame and tilt for learning new champions was the norm.

Thank you for the advice and I will definitely take you up on your offer to play. I have TF on one of my accounts but havent put much time into him, give him another glance. I have played shen a good ammount so i have a sense of checking other lanes. What I struggle at is knowing/ guessing where the enemy is and where to move if they are at "x" vs they are at "y". Best times to roam etc.

Look forward to playing. And in the meantime I will definitely try out more champs.
