I've been playing talon (And doing pretty well on him) recently and I decided to look up guides on "How to Play" Talon. Something I noticed is that the combo where Talon uses his ult to stealth and then E to a target to kill them instantly without them knowing you're there isn't really listed at all. Is this because it's not an optimal usage of ult/E? I use it to get behind the frontline to the backline and kill their carrys before their team can react. but yeah...
SouL1ess2 votesYou can only do it when you are at 4-5 items due to how closely Talon walks along the line of success and failure.
It IS optimal use of Talon's stealth but not optimal use of Talon's damage.

Secure combo: 2,E,AA,Q,R,1,AA,W, ignite Safe combo ( lots of enemies). E,W,1,R (relocate properly in TF), 2, flee or kill with autos and ms boost.
Fleeing targets or low health unaware targets (mobility boots and yoummu aint enough) 2,R,E,AA,Q, 1 when moving away from you W, ignite
Safe harass (from the enemy, not the jungler) in lane combo E to minion, R,W. Go back

The Ruin Sage1 votesYou should only ult E when you know for sure you can get the kill, the most commonly used combo is Q,E,(auto),W and if your ult is up it should be Q,Ult,E,AA,Ignite,W. (I throw the ignite in only against tanky champs to ensure the kill but is not necessary)

It should be more like E-AA-Q (and ignite pressed at the same time, since ignite has no cast frame) at the start, then by preference do ult-W-Hydra or W-ult-Hydra.
There isn't really anything wrong with using ignite to close ult, but I prefer ignite deals most of its damage before I lose stealth from ult.
The Ruin Sage1 votesQ makes your next auto attack hit for higher damage plus makes them take extra damage why would you AA before Q? Q will still work after you dash in for the AA
SouL1ess3 votesQ resets your autoattack cooldown, so AA-Q can be done almost just as fast as Q alone.
In fact, that autoattack before Q is crucial to Talon getting a kill before his full build.

GayForYasuo1 votesYeah, I main Talon. Go E -> AA -> Q (Reset Auto) -> W -> Tiamat/Hyrdra -> R -> R (To close it)
If they are running and your ult is up, then just run past them and close your ult securing the kill. And if it still isn't secured completely, then ignite them.
Thankfully, you can pull this combo off pretty often because of his low cooldowns, but don't try to overuse it and don't always assume you are gonna get the kill. I would make sure they are at a reasonable health first, and then use your combo to secure it.
I say this because if you do the combo, and they are not close enough to dying at the end, you have NO escape. Ult is down, and E is most likely down.
