Remove turret plating and give them scalable damage reduction instead
I honestly do not see why people even were on board with the idea of turret plating at the time of it's announcement.
Turret plating is a short term, temporary solution to a problem which exists throughout the duration of the games. Turret damage is a joke late game, and turrets go down way too easily without the plating so much so that if you've been killed once with your teleport on cooldown top lane, you can kiss your turret goodbye.
Riot should just have buffed tower damage and added a bit of armour/magic penetration to it along with adding damage reduction on turrets which scaled with the attacker's level as was suggested by quite a few people on the boards as a permanent solution. It's a pity their members listen to 14 year olds on Reddit more than actual players on the boards.
