You know season7 ganna be bad when...

A silver5 Ryze got 217 cs 20min.

And then a Thresh knows how to side-step and predict flashes (atleast once) (idk if lucky)

And then a Fizz that landed max range ult but didn't dive because he was smart enough to know 1v2 is bad no matter what

Idk, get better than your opponents?

Tbh, playing against people higher skill level than you is the only way you improve your own skill.

Exactly. A lot of plat/gold/silver players are condensed into silver and bronze after placements. Tons of plats and golds in mid to low silver right now.

wait a few weeks for ranks to settle where they're meant to be. Right now you still have high elo players well below where they're supposed to be, give them time to climb out.

Flex or solo is relevant here.

Some really good players in solo/duo are going to be popping up in silver/gold at first for flex, since it's only loosely based on last season dyanmic queue rank and people haven't had a chance to climb yet.

In solo/duo land most people are roughly a tier below where they 'belong' since they haven't had a chance to reclimb.

(Also, ryze the champion is actually really good at waveclear once people know how to combo him properly, so if he's not pressured out of lane getting 10+ cs/min with ryze doesn't require pro mechanics to the same degree as some other champs. Still impressive, but I'd probably judge ryzes by their ult usage more so than their cs.)

I'm currently silver 4 in flex. It's weird because I face a lot players from high gold all the way up to low diamond, as well as some silver players here and there.

It's like that every season though. Give things a little time to settle down and then it'll be fine.

Not really. It's just because it's flex queue. Last 2 seasons I started in Platinum in solo queue. Season 5 I started in Plat 1, and season 6 in Plat 3 (iirc).

Yeah, but people in flex don't have a previous season rank and IIRC the time to have your rank from last season applied to flex already elapsed, so anyone like me who's not started yet isn't going to be in the right rank
