Search Function Suggestions
This definitely is not something game changing or anything like that, but would it be at all possible to perhaps make the search functions both in game and in champ select a bit more comprehensive?
What I mean by that is can we have a search function that is actually useful? Example: I am an ADC role in a ranked solo game. I type in the search bar in champ select "ADC" or "marksman" or "range carry" etc, etc, and I get results that only contain the ADC champions that I'm looking for. Example: I want to be able to look at all the traditional support champions that I have available to me so as to weigh my options and make an appropriate champion selection. I type in the search bar something like "support" or "bottom lane" or anything of that nature, and I can see that I have a choice of Zilean, Nami, Sona, and Janna to choose from as support champions.
Not only will this system make the champ select much more user friendly, but I also think that this feature may make it a bit easier for new players to try to understand the traditional "roles" that are the meta in the LOL system.
Last suggestion is to do something similar to the shop window. For example, if I am laning against a Veigar
as an AD champion like zed
and I'm looking to build some tenacity outside of merc treads
, I think it'd be cool to be able to type "tenacity" in the search bar and be able to see all the build options that offer that particular passive.
Also while on the topic of tenacity, I think it might be useful to make a couple more items with that passive. If I'm laning against an Irelia, I might want an option that offers me some armor and/or hp plus tenacity to be able to counter build against her instead of the more traditional merc treads route which offers only magic resist which really isnt very useful against Irelia in the first place.
Like I said this suggestion really isn't game-changing or anything like that, but I think something like this may make the user interaction with the HUD components quite smoother and may make the gameplay that much more enjoyable as well. Something to think about more or less.
Thanks for your time :) -Mr. Kramer
