It hurts his lategame but even with the old his lategame is shit.

I'm in a similar boat. I think it will help his early game slightly at the cost of hurting his late a little bit. Leaving him overall pretty similar.

Mordekaiser has a shit late game, No just No This rylai change is a double or quits, either you get your core build so fast you destroy the enemies, or you end up with trash base stats and get destroyed.

The slow change is also terrible, gunblade isn't that good on him because you end up squishy unless you sacrifice your other items to be tanky and thus don't build item 3285 item 3100 for examples, but also item 3135 who is 100% requiered to draintank people without the healing of your ulti being cut by MR. Gunblade has also a cooldown

And then mordekaiser doesn't even seem to do much here. He just pops a zhonya's and runs away while Lucian does all the work

The only reason it was even a double is because fiora decided to be cute and try to kill mordekaiser

also why are Lucian and mordekaiser level 18 while yasuo is level 14 and kat level 16

if anything this is making a cheese alternative build unviable but I believe this will be a buff to mordekaiser in general

Why not since were already ignoring the fact that:

wukong popped most of grave's lifelines
level 13 thresh in a silver level game left graves to die
graves only died because he stopped to autoattack a mordekaiser
mordekaiser only mattered here because these people obviously didn't understand how mordekaiser works or at least not new mordekaiser
Lucian and wukong did most of the hard work, mordekaiser was a sub par prop that could easily be replaced with many other champs in this particular scenario. This would probably not even show his usefulness with the old rylais off even if you did show the items.

which demonstrates this may not have even been a fair matchup if you're doing this well. Apparently thresh was too.

and why would I play mordekaiser if all I have to do is deny him early gold to gimp him so he either can't finish item 3116 item 3146 in time or has to go with some shitty glass build?

I build those as my first three item and I win 80% of those games.

you're better than me with morde, i die most of the time and i need to get tankier item 3053 saves me a lot of time, the shield prevents morde to be destroyed without him unable to do anything (most of the time)
