Next champion update - Shen
The support page says that Shen is due for a game play update next. Why? I think his game play is fun and pretty balanced.

He is a little old, and I believe he's falling out of the meta. Meddler also said he wants to turn Shen into a tank with more defensive abilities other than just a shield that blocks a bit of damage. I believe the dash-stun is staying, but everything else looks like it will change. So maybe a Poppy-level rework or a bit less than that.

Seriously? Shen is a wonderful champion with no need for a rework. He may not be the most popular atm, but he has a respectable amount of success. I've enjoyed him over the years. He's a classic. Why does Riot insist on redoing EVERYTHING? Some things just don't need fixed.
The reason is because they want him to fit into the game more. Sure he's an alright pick now and fits into some comps, but all they're doing with this rework is (i hope at least) making him better. They said that they aren't changing all of his kit. I believe that they said that they were going to tweak his Q and E, and change his passive and W. So don't worry about them ruining Shen.
The only thing about shens kit that stands out is his e and r
his w and q are really bad abilitys that are just mediocre throughout the entire game
Riot said that his q-w-p gonna serve almost the same purpose, do not expect a drastic change . The only spell I can see with a FULL rework is his W and HE IS IN NEEDS OF A NEW W ! Sure W is useful Early game but it drain all your energy and the shield isn't noticable late game plus shen is all about being a protector, A PEELLER And the shield help no one but HIM ( Ironicaly, his shield hurt him more than you may think Mid/late game...) . Im pretty sure they are going to give him an EVASION LIKE SKILL on his W and if Shen succesfully block an attack, maybe riposte with an AOE slow (Maybe the aoe could damage champion only and not the minion and gain a shield based on how many champion he hit. ) in front of him or something else, I dont know... Its just an idea of what it could be and far superior to his actual W. I love shen, he is my main, I play him almost everywhere (Jungle, top, Support, KEK EVEN MID FOR THE LOL), but all I need, is a new W that give me more opportunity to protect my squishy team. Im not sure about his scalling tho. Does Shen retain his AP scalling On the E, W, Q and R after the rework? And what about his passive ?? Could I jungle with the change ?!? Or even Support? This is my biggest question and the most stressful change in my opinion.. I hope Riot keep his flex pick potential...
Beside, Shen isnt boring in my eyes ( I have so much fun with him ), However, I wont spit on a more cool gameplay.
I think Taric should be next.
About Shen though, he's boring. He doesn't win lane nor does he lose lane. He's a consistent and rather BS champ that turns around skirmishes. Remember when he was pick or ban? God I hate Shen.
