On top of that the game is unbalanced and unfun to play we have broken matchmaking, i was playing with my friend who is gold 1 and me who is silver 3 AGAINST AN MASTER, 1 DIAMOND I, 1 DIAMOND IV, PLAT IV AND PLAT III. Like what am i supposed to do, play only ranked which is super toxic and unfun to play when everyone is trolling/inting and feeding as hard as possible. I cant even learn new champs when im gonna get trashed by a random master and diamond players.

Sounds like a normal game, regardless, they should fix it. I am like pretty sure the normal games have there own mmr and thats why you were match with them, meaning there mmr is low because they dont play that much normal games and probably cuz someone else in your team is high elo as well

even in arams its like that and its so absurd getting roflstomped by a diamond 1 zed main lol. i wish i could opt in to ranked mmr norms. where i can learn a champion against like skilled players instead of what i just said. i feel like id learn a lot against gold players without the risk of being deranked. i recently had 96 lp. won a game. then got 9 of the literal dumbest people in promos. people who couldnt farm/engage. people who trolled ect. its not fun. id much rather just play norms and have fun but also learn at my current elo. but that will never happen.

Yeah my teammates are plat and above but even if i play an match alone its the same thing, diamonds,plats and masters against a silver 3 player. Seems like my mmr is high or theirs is superlow

Just play flex. It's a way to play with people of similar skill without the burden of it being a tryhard mode like Soloduo

So the reason this happens is MMR for normals IS DIFFERENT than mmr for rank. People that are master diamond etc.... dont play normals often so they dont have a mmr and get paired with everyone. They rarely play normals outside of testing champs etc.. YOu also get alot of tryhard zed, leesin, etc... who don't play rank but one trick anyways

And the best part is, if you quit to find a fair game you will get punished for it. Then sanctimoniously lectured to by the people too incompetent to make a fair system.
