It's a terrible time to be an ADC main in Ranked matches.

Let's put it into perspective. Tristana is auto-banned, and if the enemy team picks Lucian before you then you've pretty much already lost your lane, and will probably lose the game unless you get carried by your team.

It's really stressful to even queue as ADC right now because it feels like playing Russian Roulette. Would love to see Tristana and Lucian brought down a notch so it doesn't come down to which team got first pick to determine who wins bot lane.

Learn other champions. Twitch, Jinx, Quinn, Vayne, there are plenty of others that can stand up in a match if you know how to use them. People shouldn't be relying on just 2 champions anyways. In win rate match ups, Sivir, Draven, Ashe, and Miss Fortune have are above when against Lucian. Step up your game and see what happens.

Or you can just learn other adc's. Just because Lucian and Tristana are meta right now doesn't mean you ONLY have to play them. Try twitch or vayne.

Tristana and Lucian are likely seeing small nerfs next patch, with Ezreal getting small buffs (Source). Just so you know :)

In my last two ranked games I was against two Lucians. The ADCs beat Lucian and we won both games.

Corki, Graves and Vayne should be decent atm.

It's kinda true. That being said - I wouldn't like to see him nerfed. His range makes him vulnearable in teamfights and his ultimate is anything bur great.

Lucion is definitely beatable e.g. by Caitlyn - if you have the right support by your side. Getting matched with a random player and learning his playstyle within the first five minutes of a game is difficult.

Great players might do it, but I can definitely understand that it's difficult for less experienced players.

riot failed the tweaks to lucians kit lucian always was strong damage wise, rather top notch when it comes to the dmg alone and riot tried to give him counterplay by taking away his range but giving mobility instead, but those 2 actualy even themselves out, if you have low range you usualy are mobile to avoid the damage or close the gap, if you have rannge you usualy are a stationary target

in short riot gave lucian a weakness by taking his range away, but they removed that weakness by giving him the mobility

ADC is the new support now...

I haven't started ranked yet, but normals, are at a point where you can have two or even three main supps, but when you are last pick you are more likely to end up as adc than anything else.

When I'm in that position I rather pick Kayle than a real adc though.

It's so weird, I feel like people have completely forgot about Cait. Her lane phase is still really strong, and she scales really well too (especially in the IE rush meta). Cait does well against both Lucian & Trist. Corki & Kog can both do well in lane as well.

There's only 4 ADCs that you can do well with consistently. Tristana, Lucian, Corki and Draven/Caitlyn

Everything else can't win lane or doesn't snowball hard enough, has problems whenever mid game comes, and if they don't have mobility you're going have and even harder time.

Point is Riot failed with their itemization changes and essentially pushed half the ADC roster out of viability.
