Why the hell are answers to what's strong being nerfed?
Seriously. Assassins, devourer jungles and hard engage tanks are all the rage because they totally fuck up ADCs. Seriously, i cannot think of any other champion types that ruin an adc's day (sans juggernauts vs immobile adcs, but that's a rant for another time) quite as much as those 3.
But I don't think ADCs are the problem; they're just yet another answer.
ADCs are pretty much hardwired into the metagame because turrets are a thing that exist and need to stop existing for a team to win. They're needed for their ability to take turrets the fastest in the game, bar some special splitpushers (hello there, jax), but also do it safer than mentioned splitters. This role is even more important now because of how easy it is to take towers. Really, an ADC left up after a brutal teamfight pretty much guarantees a loss of 2 buildings minimum for the team who lost.
I also, even as a diver/assassin main, am deathly afraid of Zz'rot being nerfed. It doesn't deserve it just because towers are total ass at the whole "staying up for more than 5 minutes" thing and is just a victim of current circumstance, even sadder because it, along with banner, are some of the most unique items in the game (but maybe not the most fun to deal with at the moment)
Not to mention laneswap meta is cancer for competitive and pretty much makes all non-clown fiesta games the same "push side waves for 15 minutes then group and whoever has the better teamfight wins" bullshit we see time and time again.
TL;DR just fucking fix towers please, so much of the meta stagnation is just based off answers to it.
