why does it say that there is a problem in patching ur game ?

whenever i login it tells me that "something is up with our servers and its preventing u from patching .We're giving it another shot.In the meantime,u can check the stasus of our servers here.(error code 003)" and the play button becomes unclickable but after a few seconds it becomes clickable again . i wanna know why does this keep on happening and how to fix it (preferably without uninstallin and reinstalling)

i want someone to help me please ,if a rioter helps its even better
